i agree with skip, obama has this presence and orah about him that tells his listener that hes the real deal. Hes not exactly persuasive but persistant and confident in his motions to make this economy boom again. I do believe we need a change in office whether its for better or worse, we know whats not working!

I think what salespeople can learn from Obama is that he’s polished. That’s different than slick. Presentations should be polished so that they shine. Salespeople can learn from that. Pacing, careful choices of words, eye contact, body language, changes in volume, etc., can all impact a sales presentation.

I’ve been watching the presidential race from over the pond with interest and have got to agree with you on the connectivity and appeal that Barack and Bill have as orators and message deliverers. I’m intrigued to see how well Sarah Palin does for the republicans tonight.
