Right to the point, this is a busy guy:
Me: What is connectize?
Tom: Real time collaboration platform for sales people
Me: Tell me more
Tom: Part of a Sales 2.0 tool set. Enables sales people to discover, connect, and collaborate with other like minded sales professionals.
Me: Why would we want do that?
Tom: Because sales people need the most actionable and relevant sales intelligence.
Me: So how does ocnnectize get me actionable slaes intelligence?
Tom: By allowing you to discover and connect with someone who has the information you need.
Me: So how does this differ from a lead site like Spoke or Jigsaw?
Tom: We are bypassing the middle man and going directly to the source.
Me: What do you mean?
Tom: Instead of delivering information to a system, you are connecting directly to your peers. This is dynamic content delivered in real time vs. updated static information. What is interesting is this information can lead to collaboration and even partnering.
Me: So again I know I am pressing, but how is it different from systems like SalesConx and Account Maven
Tom: The real time collaboration tools and the account based Wiki to further enable collaboration.
Me: Account based Wiki, that is cool! So how do I test drive the colaboration tools?
Tom: Well, Karl cannot yet. The first release to the public will be a free beta available by the end of March 2009.
